About Us

We are Team YM a bunch of women that have lots of things in common! What brought us together was two things- We all belong to The Yummy Mummy Club and Twitter.

The majority of the women are from the Toronto area and the rest of us came in from Ottawa. We have gotten to know each other very well through all our tweets back and forth. 10pm has become what we like to refer to as "the tweeting hour". We have a very wide range of conversations but somehow it always seem to come back to food. When there is bad news we are there for one another the same way as when there's good news . For a bunch of women who met on line we have all become good friends.

Meeting each other on race day was completely awesome,. After all the time we've spent together we were all finally going to meet. A few of our friends weren't able to make this trip and they were missed greatly. Ten of the women were here to do a 15K run, l almost forgot to mention that part, five others came to be cheerleaders for them. After the race was over we all seemed to make our way to the beer tent were there where many conversations happening at once- just like twitter, and the laughter was heard all around the table. At times I forgot there were even other people around. Not being ready to call it a night yet we headed back to the hotel bar to do more talking. At 1:00am we said our good byes and gave hugs all around. The night just seemed to end far to quickly.

We all look forward to our next meet up but in the meantime we have twitter.
